LANCASTER, CA. The Brothers of Joseph A. Meekins Lodge #103, F&AM, have established an Information Technology & Communications (IT&C) Committee that will work to innovate Lodge information management and communications capabilities. The intent is to centralize all Lodge-related information, to assure confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of Lodge-owned content, and to modernize how the Lodge manages its fiduciary responsibilities to its members and non-profit business activities.
The vision is to fully embrace modern business practices through the use of virtual or online transaction capabilities, communications via a public-facing website, implementation of a Social Media presence on popular platforms, and implement the use of virtual teleconferencing capabilities.
Due to the Global-Pandemic that began in 2020 in the United States, the Brethren of Joseph A. Meekins Lodge #103 have concluded that any business, for-or-non-profit, that turns away from innovation is only declaring its own eventual demise. The website as well as other social pages are under development with an estimated end of October 2021 completion date.
