LANCASTER, CA. In a momentous culmination at the December 2023 Stated Meeting, JAM103 conducted its eagerly anticipated 2024 Elections, ushering in a new era for the Lodge’s dynamic history. The recently elected administration was officially installed on December 22nd, with their term of office officially commencing on January 1st, 2024.
Guided by the capable leadership of Worshipful Master Bro. Milas “BJ” Hudson, Senior Warden Bro. Theodore W. Reynolds, and Junior Warden Bro. Kenston Drye, the administration is fortified by the expertise of PM Kevin E. Jackson as Secretary and PM Roy Arellano as Treasurer. This dynamic team has been entrusted with the responsibility of stewarding the Lodge through the upcoming year.
The Brothers of Joseph A. Meekins Lodge #103 extend heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated Past Masters and Brothers who have earned the trust and support of the Craft. Their commitment and vision will undoubtedly shape the course of our Lodge for the ensuing year.
In a poignant moment of transition, outgoing Worshipful Master Bro. Roy Arellano shared reflections during the final Stated Meeting of his administration. He remarked, “Today not only concludes the 12th Stated Meeting of this administration but also marks a significant milestone in the 60th year since our Charter as a Prince Hall Affiliated, Free and Accepted Masons, under the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the Great State of California, Incorporated. As we prepare for the time-honored tradition of a free election, we reflect on the challenges faced, from the break-in and burglary of our Lodge to the somber loss of our faithful Brother and Master Mason, Herman Collins.”
“Yet, amidst these challenges, positive strides have defined our journey. We celebrated our 60th anniversary, resumed nearly pre-pandemic activities, initiated seven new Entered Apprentices, thereby expanding our fraternal order. We embraced technology, establishing a social media presence, and fortified our administrative capabilities. Throughout, the ethos of Servant Leadership remained paramount. Today, I extend heartfelt congratulations to Worshipful Master (elect) Bro. Hudson and his administration, offering prayers for success and harmony in the upcoming year. Serving as Worshipful Master has been an honor, and the lessons learned will resonate with me for a lifetime.”
